Hi, I am Tamela. I started this blog to help you find peace. In 2012, my husband had a sudden stroke. My life changed in a heartbeat. I became a full-time caregiver. I was scared and felt all alone. I had to care for my husband and our young daughter. It was a lot for one mom! But I found the Lord’s peace and his help in the Bible. Now, I want to share the peace with you.
The Bible was my lifeline when things were very hard. It gave me hope and showed me the Lord’s love. My struggles helped me start Purple With Peace. This blog shows my own journey. I share the verses that helped me survive.
I am a wife and a mom. I want to help everyone. It does not matter if you know the Bible or not. I want this blog to be a safe, quiet place for you. Each post has a Bible verse to help you through your day.
I share my story so we can connect. I want you to find comfort here. I want you to know that you are not alone! I give all the glory to the Lord for my life. He is the one who keeps me going.
